The Sale of the 2015 Silverado was rushed. I was Puppy dogged into taking the truck over the weekend. The vehicle was a fresh trade in and still dirty. Pretty sure the seat was still warm from the previous owner. The truck was leaking oil when I inspected it on the test drive. I asked on Monday morning to fix the oil leak and I would purchase the truck. Sales had the Valve cover gaskets replaced but the truck still leaked oil. I brought it back and service had it for 3 weeks before they even touched it. The service adviser said the repairs were going to be $3,000 for a new oil pan and upper gasket. Luckily I found that "All-Data" was only calling for 7.1 hours. Service tried to cut me a deal and charge me only $1,300, but quickly changed their estimate when I told them how much labor time was actually being called for. I paid $824 for my "half" of the repair needed for the oil leak. Now after having the truck for a week, It is still leaking oil. I fully understand that I bought a used as is vehicle, BUT I said I would not buy the truck with a major engine oil leak. The sale was rushed. The finance manager had better things to do when I signed. There should have been a "We Owe" agreement for this oil leak. Not a single manager has contacted me. This is my first time owning a legit Chevrolet. I came to a "A" lot dealership because I believed they were going to be the most professional.
